6/22/15 AT&T has begun to install U-verse Fiber Optic cable in Barnes Cove and will continue installing in Barnes Bend and Sugar Valley as well. The process will take 60 days or less.

AT&T is a utility provider in Davidson County and as such does not require anyone's permission other than that of the county. They have a 20 foot utility easement on the front of every property in Barnes Cove including the common areas that allows for installation and future maintenance of utilities. Beyond that, the county does require that they repair in a reasonable manner any damage to curbs, driveways and lawns.
